Something new this year…in place of a December Christmas Party we are having a Holiday Celebration Ride and Ornament Exchange for FRBCH members! December is such a busy time with parties and family, we thought it would be fun to do a ride instead of a Christmas Party.

Our Holiday Celebration Ride will take place at the private Sandstone Ranch-West. FRBCH members will be the guests of Douglas County Mounted Patrol on a private guided ride through this exquisite property on Sunday October 18, 2026. This is a rare opportunity to see the Ranch operations, historic buildings and preserved wildlife habitats of Sandstone Ranch from your saddle! The ride is approximately 2 hours,

This ride is limited to the first 25 people who sign up below (soon). Before you register, please know that: Horses are not provided - No ponying - No pets - you are required to stay with the group. You must be registered on the form below to attend. The ranch is gated and will remain closed until our ride is completed, so you will need to plan to be at the gate for entry by the designated time where you will be checked in and asked to sign a waiver.

FRBCH is planning to have a potluck at the ranch following our ride where we will exchange Christmas ornaments (horse related). If you register and cannot attend, please let us know as soon as possible so someone else can take your spot.
