Each year Front Range Back Country Horsemen travel with our horses to the Buffalo Creek forest to visit families that go to pick out the perfect Christmas Tree for their homes. We dress ourselves and our horses in Christmas attire, and ride through the area speading Christmas greetings and handing out candy canes to the kids. Families are so excited to see us and the kids love to get to pet the horses. It is a fun time for everyone. Details will be forthcoming on the 2026 Christmas Tree Ride soon.
